Chief Build Engineer
Chris Burns
Chris has 11 years direct experience in heat recovery techniques, analytical research and testing. He also has a full understanding of Steam processes and the development of steam components specifically aimed at heat recovery. Responsible for the construction of CTEC’s Control system and related control based algorithms to manage thermal power outputs and the conversion of thermal energy into super heated steam to generate electricity. Chris has managed all our heat recovery and steam applications with direct influence on engineering processes. He has experience in Computer programming, tig welding, fabrication and CNC machining.

Paul Burns
Paul has been a heat transfer and fluid management engineer for the past 15 years after serving an apprenticeship in mechanical engineering (Alfa Laval) he moved to automotive hybrid fuel technology R&D as a consultant with advanced knowledge in thermo dynamics and mechanical structures. After graduating he furthered his career as a Product Design Engineer in fluid handling for HMD PUMPS magnetic drive technology and became a member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. Paul is heavily involved in the design and development of all heat recovery applications with full management control of engineering decisions, CAD detailed models and drawings including all future projects.

Amaury is a passionate entrepreneur and investor in the field of waste and water management, pioneering the development & introduction of new technologies in France and other markets for more than two decades. He created Ovive 20 years ago, to deal with leachate treatment and it has revenues over €30 million. Amaury has invested in and promoted a number of very successful green start-ups: Lhyfe, Waga Energy and Optyma. He graduated from HEI in France as a Civil Engineer.

Marco Cucinotta
Marco graduated B Eng (Hons) in Electrical / Electronic Engineering (specialising in Control) from Portsmouth University. His career spans senior engineering roles at Daewoo and TWR Engineering Ltd. Technical Specialist with Menard Engineering UK (F1 & NASCAR) and as Manager at Worthing Technical Centre for Ultramotive Ltd UK. Marco is responsible for Control system design & build (HardSoftware). System testing, durability /safety. Data collection & remote monitoring.

Jean Yves
Jean graduated as a Chemical Engineer at the French major engineering school, "Agro Paris Tech“. Jean spent over 40 years in chemical, energy, & environment projects, specialising for 30 years in waste activities, at SUEZ Group managing the engineering department for turnkey incineration plants with heat recovery. As Development director within Caisse des Depots Environment Pôle, he created its hazardous waste incineration activity. Jean Yves has an outstanding industry profile for design, implementation, operation, & audits for all kind of thermal treatments.
